Maomao is the sharp-eyed apothecary at the centre of The Apothecary Diaries: raised in the pleasure district, she ends up serving in the imperial rear palace, far more interested in medicines and poisons than in court politics.

This Banpresto figure carries the subtitle ~Odd Jobs~ and measures about 23 cm, which gives the series' unflappable lead a proper place on the shelf.
