The Tama Candy shell brings a confectionery palette to Bandai's Original Tamagotchi: pink, purple and blue combine in pastel colours across a candy-inspired finish that stands out within the line at a glance. It suits a collector who wants the shell itself to carry as much character as the pet living inside it.

Underneath, the programming is the unchanged Gen 1 Tamagotchi code from the 1997 original: the same characters and the same care loop of feeding, playing, cleaning up, discipline and lights-off rest, with growth from egg to adult shaped entirely by how well that loop is kept.

A CR2032 battery and a carry chain are included, so it can be clipped on and carried wherever it goes.
