MG Zeta Gundam Ver.Ka

Katoki Hajime's Master Grade take on the MSZ-006, released for the twentieth anniversary of the MG Ver.Ka line. Proportions follow Kazumi Fujita's original sketches for the series rather than the later cleaned-up interpretations.

The engineering problem with any Zeta is that transformation usually ruins one of the two forms. This kit reworks the structure so both hold their shape, and the Waverider mode locks at each joint so it sits like a fixed aircraft model instead of sagging. MS mode keeps a wide range of movement for posing. Assembled it stands around 19 cm. Included are the Zeta antenna, two beam sabers, the shield and nosecone, two grenade launchers, a set of manipulators, and a seated 1/100 Kamille Bidan figure. Some parts carry a metallic extra-finish treatment, and the water-slide decals are of Katoki's own design.

The definitive Zeta at this scale, and a build worth taking slowly.
