HG GFreD

GFreD is a 1/144 High Grade kit from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, and its silhouette is a clear break from the usual Universal Century lines — narrow-waisted, heavily shouldered, closer to a piloted organism than a tank.

The kit is snap-fit with colour separation handled in the moulding, so a straight build looks like the box art without paint. It comes with a beam rifle, beam saber, shield, interchangeable hand parts and a sticker sheet. The distinctive Esbits units, Luna and Artemis, detach and can be posed in flight using the included connection pieces — a display base is not included and is sold separately.

A good entry point to the GQuuuuuuX line, and an easy build for anyone who wants something that does not look like every other HG on the shelf.
