Fern raises her barrier in this Banpresto Effectreme release from Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. The Effectreme line is about catching the instant a spell lands, and for Fern that means her defensive magic: a sheet of translucent blue hexagons held out in front of her, staff braced behind it.

The sculpt catches her mid-turn, black robe and white dress swept out behind her, hair caught in the same movement down to the silver flower hairpin at the back. Her expression stays as flat and unimpressed as ever. The staff is its own piece, purple wrapping and all.

Standing around 19 cm tall, this is a non-scale, non-articulated PVC prize figure. It slots together in a minute with no glue or extra stand needed, and lines up directly with the Effectreme Frieren for a two-figure shelf.
